Basically I totally agree with the 3 other negative comments about G1 Letting and in particular Dylan Short. I have been swindled out of several months rent and I will do whatever I can to try to steer everyone away from working with Dylan Short in any capacity in the future. I have just received a letter stating that G1 have unfortunately had to cease trading due to difficult trading conditions. Legal jargon for we have done a runner and your not getting your money back! Avoid Mr Short at all costs.

Hi all I have had the same problems , he run away with £4000 of mines, and done the same exact thing he done to you all. I just want to verify the other comments on my very poor experience with G1 homes, since our tenant moved into the property in Nov 2011, after a few months payments were always late, I had to phone or email most months to get my rent and that was due to the Lettings manager eventually sorting ... What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have responded to my email, answered the phone, paid my rent on time, returned the deposit to my tenant. Being polite and non patronising on the the phone and told the truth.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Do not breach your own Property Letting and Management Agreement . Be open, honest and professional. Do not withhold rental money owed to the landlord. Do not pay with cheques that are returned unpaid. Keep and update records of payments made and received. Issue and date receipts. Issues accurate monthly statements. Communicate with both the tenant and landlord when requested to do so. Give access to your office, during normal office hours at least. Deal with deposits as Scottish law now dictates. Do not lie. Do not ignore request for information. Communicate when asked to do so.

What agent could do to change your mind?
NO, Stole my money Lied about placing the deposit in a safe scheme. Never paid rent on the correct date. Didn\'t answer calls or emails. Dylan Short was rude and arrogant, (the one time he did answer the phone from 100+ calls)
