I used to rent a property from Hendy's and I would warn anyone against using them, unfortunatley they have a strong market share in the LS7/17/8 area. We paid our rent on time, looked after the property over and above what was expected (theirs and LL's admission) but as we expected a water damaged floor (previous to our tennancy) that was raised and casuing a trip hazard to be fixed after 1 year of asking they evicted us. They told the LL that we were going to take them to court to get it fixed, the LL in her ignorance, believed them. We strongly believe that they put stumbling blocks in the relationship between us / LL as we expected things to be done to maintain the property (rotten windows that didn't shut be replaced) and it caused them an inconveninence to have to deal with it as we wouldn't be fobbed off with "oh we'll coming and fix it in the next couple of weeks" The worst thing about these people is that they are staffed by elderly ladies who you think are lovely but in reality (post contract signing) are down right rude and manipulative.
