No matter how desperate you are a property in St Andrews, DO NOT RENT WITH PREMIERLET. Carole is handsdown the worst business owner I have ever encountered. She will lie, gaslight, shout, patronise, and treat you with utter contempt all having zero selfawareness about how out of line she is. I genuinely cannot believe she is still in business. Premierlet violated tenant protection law multiple times during our tenancy, including providing keys to tradesmen to enter the property without any advance notice which was so incredibly frightening me as a woman to have strange men coming into the house. It happened on multiple occasions and Carole would blame us or blame the workmen like we wouldn't speak to each other? She would also manipulate both us and the owner of the property and then lie about her actions even though we had proof, which is quite frankly insane. Multiple dodgy dealings with our payments and she also tried to without our deposit. Read the reviews, the records of legal action against Carole, and then run far, far away from this company. There are many other safer, more trustworthy companies out there. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Genuinely terrible experience - we moved out in the middle of the pandemic and they didn't do the inventory until a month after we'd left and then tried to charge us extortionately for the cleaning fee - they estimated £145-195 and when we outsourced a cleaner, it ended up being £50.... Currently trying to get our deposit back, they're taking off a large sum of money unnecessarily and, what seems to us, unfairly. Very abrasive and unpleasant experience dealing with Premierlet. In St Andrews you often do not have much of a choice given limited letting opportunities and high rental costs for the local area.
