Purchased a new build, during the process, sales was chasing for final signing constantly. House was advertised at 147,500 after surveyed it was 135,000. Sales went back on their offer to include flooring as the survey down valued the house. Once moved in, within 2 weeks turns out the solar panels wasn't even working. Workmen had to put holes in the walls to fix, walls are patched up but noticeable plastering and paint can be seen. Within 1 month, bed room had a leak from the ceiling due to heavy rain. The leak lasted 2 weeks before resolution, was advised twice that it was resolved but too my horror the leak happened again. Ceiling completely replaced for the bed room, the ceiling is not smooth and is rugged - can see patch work. Definitely does not look like a new build at all. Damage items are still not reimbursed or acknowledged after submitting receipts. Currently £1,200 out of pocket waiting for some feedback. No action taken till threats of going to new homes ombudsmen. New development located in Northwich. House looks pretty but quality and after sales care is terrible.
