Really bad experience with Linley& Simpson I rented a property in Beverley for 1 year. I received the house poorly clean and a few faulty things .I didn't realise to point out one of the faulty things at the beginning Left the house in immaculate condition They accuse me of the faulty things ( some small scratch in the dishwasher) and also complained about oven was dirty When I moved in the oven had crust of burned food and disgusting condition They refused to return deposit saying they are waiting for invoice of the broken item which I didn't broke After 2 weeks still waiting for invoice messing around to don't refund my deposit Absolutely horrible I need the many to pay other bills and them illegally are retaining my deposit They will always look for the five leg in the cat No matter how clean and tidy you leave the property they will try to don't refund as much as they can Be careful Don't rent with them

9 Oct 2024I have similar experience. I just return the flat in a better condition than I received 2 years ago. After 15 days, they ask for a deduction of ￡ 100 for further cleaning of 2 bed rooms and the hob. They do not point out what is wrong, just use general terms. Sparkle cleaning. No one can turn an old flat into a sparkle one. They also point out the hob need cleaning too. I find burnt crease and food remains inside the oven, and little ash covered on food. I never use it again. I do not agree with the deduction.
