We have recently arranged to view a property which was marketed by Lancasters but unfortunately, we never had the chance to do so as the property went under offer before the arranged viewing took place. Although I called Lancasters the same day that the property was released to the market and I was ensured by the lady on the other end of the phone that we will be the first ones to look at the property, I received a call a day before our arranged appointment that an offer has been accepted so our viewing is now cancelled. Upon questioning how this was possible when I was led to believe that we will be the first ones to see the property in question I have been told by the lady on the other end that it was her who took my initial call and she has never said the above and technically called me a liar. After this I have never even bothered to look at properties marketed by this agent and I highly doubt that I ever will.
