They are trying to charge £80 for an ID check. which is nothing more than a sales lead for lifetime legal. Solicitor agrees this is overcharging. He charges £7.50 Mortgage company do for free. And yet the estate agent needs £80. Lifetime legals own website says it is FREE!!!! Estate agent refusing to take the property off the market until I pay.
