I applied for a mortagage on April 10th 2024 to Nationwide. This company requested a valuation to the unprofessional and irresponsible surveyors from Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward (KFH). These so-called professional surveyors conducted an inspection on April 22nd. After more than a month they failed to deliver the report and refuse to provide any explanation as to what is going on. They give updates every 2-3 weeks usually requesting for unnecessary documents such as whether the flat has a balcony and this has to be provided using a specific format and signed by a specific person. Impossible to get and unnecessary as they did an inspection. I am about to lose the transaction as the seller wants to withdraw because of KFH. Thanks so much!
