Could not find a review page on Sowerbys holidays lettings for Norfolk, so this is the only way I can leave a review as trip advisor doesnt have Harrier Cottage either. We arrived around 8.45-9pm at Harrier Cottage in Thornham and as soon as we got in there, there was a) An Awful sewage smell to welcome us – in the bathrooms upstairs. Which I went out and bought some bleach and cleaned!!! b) There followed a lot of cleaning after that especially the tall cupboard we wanted to use and also kitchen work tops as these had bits on them if you put your hands on them. c) The Fridge door would not close easily and there is paint coming off of it d) There was a picture on the floor in the downstairs toilet e) The main bedroom there were cobwebs, although pics don't capture, behind both the black cabinets f) One of the black cabinets all the covering is coming off and I caught my finger on it as its sharp when opening the draw g) The Grill pan was filthy All in all, I certainly didn't expect to be cleaning up before I could sit down on Friday night at 9pm!!! Although you apologised profusely and compensated the £30 booking fee back to us, I must say I wasn't very that impressed and we will probably not book again.
