Uncaring and unhelpful landlord lackeys who prey on low value properties so that they can raise the floor of unaffordability. For just £150 more a month, you can get a 2 bedroom house with garden and parking space in a nice location from their competitors but unfortunately that is unaffordable for my single salary so I am stuck in this squalid and miserable 1 bedroom flat next to noisy nightlife which attracts violence and drugs. There were blood splatters on the main door for 4 months before the rain washed it off. They absolutely do not care about their tenants and will just listen to complaints but their manner in doing so lets you know they have no intention of doing anything about it and will avoid any commitment to taking action against the abusive neighbours they let into the building, towards repairs left from the previous tenant 2 years ago, towards pest control (I found 2 dead mice in the kitchen less than a week ago), and the more you complain, the more they seek to put the rent up until you learn to stop complaining. They know that people have nowhere to turn to for help, so they continue to abuse the system and their tenants, profiteering on misery. Avoid at all costs if you can.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
