Last year, my mother attempted to put her home up for sale. My sister and I conducted interviews for her, and the William H Brown representative, Adam, was by far the worst. He gave our house the lowest valuation out of all the people we interviewed before proceeding to deliver a terrible presentation that kept repeating over and over again that William H Brown does not only care about money, in the hope that the more they say it, the more we might actually believe them. I wasn't particularly impressed, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. My sister, however, thought he was absolutely terrible. After meeting with a few other agencies, we advised our mother not to go with William H Brown. Unfortunately, there was a big problem we did not foresee. Adam, in fact, knew who our mother was, as she worked at a nearby shop. One of the only things we requested from him was not to bother her at work, as she wasn't yet telling people she was selling. Adam said that he understood and would not do such a thing. Around five minutes later, he went into my mother's shop and loudly announced that he had just had a meeting with her children about selling the house in front of one of her colleagues. Adam then proceeded to constantly harass my mother about listing her house immediately, making bogus claims that she needed to sell now as the market was about to drop massively. My mother finally gave in to his harassment and accepted. Once the house was listed, he would call her every week, insisting she needed to lower the price more and more. He would also continue to harass her at work. Eventually, my mother came to her senses and fired him, but the whole experience caused her nothing but stress, and she was really upset about how this absolute vulture treated her. Please do not go with William H Brown. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.
