Unfortunately, the standard of Rose and Sargent's letting team has really, really deteriorated. I have let various properties with Rose and Sargent, for about 20 years, but have recently been extremely let down by their role as 'Full Managing Agent' of my rental properties. They have failed (it appears that this was overlooked) to review/increase the rent on my properties in over the last 2 yrs and it was me who alerted them to this issue! Now that I have drawn this to their attention they are planning rent increases, but are obviously unable to just put the properties up to the market level (so I will still remain way below the appropriate rental market rate). I have been informed that the director of the company is unwilling to pay me any financial compensation for the errors made by his company . I calculate that I am owed thousands of pounds in lost rent, due to their errors. I am extremely disappointed with their service and the management of this firm.
