I approach JD Wood agency on Elizabeth Street to rent a new flat . Truly lovely lady Olivia showed it me and helped to make an offer . 15 minutes later I receive a call from letting manager Matthew Williamson . Williamson could see from my name that I wasn’t not in the Uk , he could also hear my accent . I experienced the highest level of abuse , discrimination and harrasement from Williamson falsely accusing me of being a masseuse or running day care centre . He was making a very strange sarcastic noises when I confided that have been running my business for 12 years . If I was male he for sure wouldn’t have this issue . It was a shocking act of discrimination . The property belongs to Grosvenors and 3 male names are on the title . I would advise to be very careful with Williamson as his behaviour is below any human acceptable standards . This man left me in a high level of distress and I was on the y to the job interview . It has been reported to the Property Ombudsman .

8 Feb 2024Steer clear of this organization for "property management" if you are a landlord and best of luck if you find yourself a tenant of a property they manage. 5 months in to my tenancy we are on the verge of finishing a project that was agreed to be done prior to move in. Ultimately the organization manages nothing and expects you to spend your time organizing with contractors and scheduling your own time while simultaneously having no clue about where any project stands. Outrageously they are charging landlord 17.5% for this disservice- fire these guys immediately and save money for yourself and your tenants.
