As current tenant of a Martin&Co property , I have been threatened, harassed and bullied. They are not afraid to shake your down for coins, invade your property whenever they feel like it and take as long as possible in arranging maintenance for the property I pay monthly and on time for. Their staff practice is based on fascists principles, where they continuously play around with “legalities” with what they can get away with. Fouls conducts. I plan on reporting them to Ombudsman as soon as my intended tenancy comes to an end. Shameful letting agents. Avoid them at all costs. This is regarding the Martin&co in Rochester, which is conveniently NOT on the list of offices to highlight for the review.

Overly expensive works fees for the area for substandard work - way over the going rate and they signed off shoddy work which was actually dangerous to the tenant.

They are very nice to get you in letting, but after that it's a nightmare to get service and when you make a complaint, some of the staff are arrogant, rude and condescending! They say leave if you are not happy. You are hassled for routine inspection, but service and repairs are not given same... Read Full Review
