HORRIBLE Pressured us into signing and basically demanding we pay the deposit after hardly giving us any information after we asked for simple questions. Did not communicate with everyone involved only 1 person. We wanted to rent this house and unfortunately because of a guarantor fail they basically blacklisted us from seeing or renting another property they have. They wanted a minimum income of £28k from the guarantors so of course some of us failed. Also strange how the two people of colour failed whilst others who didn’t meet the guarantor requirements still passed when their guarantors did not earn £28k, I felt discriminated against and it shows their racism. And the rent was insanely high for the house! It was not really worth it for what we were getting. After we failed the guarantor checks they wanted to us to pay 8 months of rent straight up or we won’t get the house … being uni students they were asking for the impossible. They were pushy, not helpful at all, were not cooperative with us and kicked us in the dust after that. After signing the tenancy agreement we are not seeing that deposit back unfortunately. We did not feel prepared to even sign the agreement but was harassed by emails to sign everyday. My other friend who was also trying to rent a house was talking to one of the letting agents who were so rude and nasty all because not all prospective tenants were not able to view the house at the same time. Honestly, feel so disgusted by how they treated us, the communication was terrible, highly dissatisfactory and wouldn’t choose to work with this appalling company.
