Awful service, misled by the vendor, fobbed off by this agent. They are just not interested. The service is appalling even after completion we struggled to collect keys. Our vendor left the property with no utilities broken fixtures etc. this agent washed their hands.

30 Sept 2022Hi there, I do apologise that the property was left in the condition it was for you - As explained previously, we aren't qualified to test the functionality of each service inside the property so we rely upon the sellers to provide us (and their purchasers) with correct information and further, we then rely upon the surveyors to provide advisories or comments on any issues which may affect you as a buyer, for your protection during the purchase. The solicitors are equally then responsible for providing the relevant certification to evidence works done inside the property should any issues be flagged up. As such, we as the agents are not responsible for not knowing that the utilities were not in complete working order and were equally misled. Apologies once again for your experience post sale and the mis-information provided by the seller. We hope the solicitors can provide renumeration via the seller for the issues found.

Aside from some of the ridiculous valuations and even refusing to put an offer forward to the vendor because THEY thought it was too low (not the vendor), they also breach GDPR law by constantly harassing me with unwanted and pointless advertising even after unsubscribing and emailing the director... Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
