Worst agency I have every dealt with, constant lies, unliveable conditions, refuse to accept fault. Do not trust! Moved into this property and was greeted with huge amounts of rubbish, an unclean, black mould invested room with plenty of drug drug bags, and a broken bed frame and a filthy mattress. After spending my first 2 days cleaning for room I then had to wait 20 days after I initial moved in to get a functioning mattress and bed frame ( I wonder why they only wanted to show me video tour and would not greet me at the property on the move in day or since). The next problem arose when the black mould was discovered throughout the house, then again I say discovered turns out this was known about and the environmental health agency had been in contact with another tenant due to the severity. Not to worry though after misleading us all and not providing us with an update themselves they decide to finally rip out the one bathroom shared by 4 people as it was only going to take 2 days and this would fix the leak causing the damp…. 2 days turned to 9 days later and countless trips to the local McDonald’s just to use a restroom to relieve myself, It was finally fix….. no wait they didn’t fix anything and the black mould is still festering away In the walls. I suppose the tenancy wasn’t too bad though, I was able to get over my fear of rats as the back garden and now kitchen was full with them. How did they get in you ask? Not sure I heard rats can squeeze through very small cracks so when they saw the Grand Canyon running throughout the house (Not quite sure how it standing still) they had no problem. Luckily I thought this was always short term, only six months for work, get in get out. January comes! Move out time! Everything gone by the agreed tenancy end date, keys left, email reply from them to say leave the keys, goodbye rats! Nope they want more money from me, another £500. Another months rent. I didn’t give them notice, in my mind me saying I only need the property for 6months, signing 6 month fixed term is was not enough. They sent me emails to remind me this (they can’t prove this though, they can only copy and paste what they meant to send on the end of another email they won’t forward me these “sent emails” what even send images to show it) If you want a reliable and customer friendly letting agency I recommend to go elsewhere, I’ll give them some credit though with all this misdirection I think they would make a great magician.
