He was quite prepared to go that extra mile to co-ordinate all parties involved in the sale of our property and to ensure that completion was successfully achieved. Appalling on every conceivable level. Almost pathological inability to take any responsibility for any action. Withheld rent collected on my behalf for 4 months. I was told this was quite normal! Rang to say would be 10 min late, only to be told by the agent that she had cancelled the viewing at my own request "because the house was not near a shop/pub" - this being a house in the middle of a town! Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
