This is a review about a franchise of Belvoir and not about the company itself though i'm sure that sadly having a dishonest franchise on its books reflects badly on the company itself. I was the victim of an attack by a male resident in the early ours of January 10th 2013 after i asked them to turn their music down. Belvoir were fully aware of this attack and so was the landlord. Despite Belvoir assuring me that my deposti would be put into a deposit scheme, it was not so when i left the property soon after the attack for my own safety, my deposit was no where to be seen. I telephoned the franchise on the 7th February 2013 and was told it was my responsibility to have secured my deposit (this is wrong information) and when i asked why they didn't tell me this at the contract signing, they had no answer. Please do not rent with this franchise and do not trust them to be honest, friendly or caring. They are by far the worse letting agency i have ever dealt with. I'm not typing up this review to bring scandal to their office but to protect other prospective tenants from such wrongdoing. Please be careful.
They could have been honest, caring, competent and trustworthy and have a better attitude towards their tenants.

20 Aug 2017They are dangerous and do not have a clue what they are doing. I as a landlord entrusted them with my property only at tye end to be left with a property that was well below the standard they received it in as they allowed tenants to keep dogs in my home (specifically stated a NO PRT policy). Ended up having to go the ombudsman who awarded around half the amount of damage compensation we itemised. They admitted they knew about the dog(s). They didnt action anything that i raised on landlord inspections and in fact told me to stay away and not to bother tenants (one or two inspections a year is showing a caring landlord...not a bothering one). Proof is in the pudding. Ombudsman found them guilty on multiple counts. If you have a bad experience of this shower of plonkers then i urge you to contact the ombudsman...perhaps wventually they will be struck off from being allowed to trade. Dont bither contacting belvoir head office...they are only interested in selling their franchise...not the problems that their franchisees create. They eventually all blocked our email addresses as they didnt want to know. Worrying to think that harry coates is now a tory councitory with pkc and involved in housing department. He doesnt know a thing about housing...although he thinks he does.

Worst letting agency we've ever used. AVOID. Extremely poor communication, very rarely answer the phone or emails. They paid a contractor work that was never carried out and didn't notice until tenant left and we got into the flat. Still waiting a refund even after a solicitors letter, now taking ...
