Do not work with this agency - If I could leave a minus five star rating I would. The flat we rented through them was infested with flies, this was never dealt with. When we moved in there were mouse feces and vermin poison on the kitchen counters, and they had the audacity to tell us the flat had been professionally cleaned. We had no windows that opened in the en-suite bathroom and the extractor fan was broken, we tried to get it fixed the entire year and despite multiple messages and promises it wasn't fixed. We had an out of the blue "inspection" from the agency due to a noise complaint - one of the agency's staff looked through our flat lookoing for something. We investigated this and there was no noise complaint made - we found out the downstairs neighbour assumed we were subletting to out flatmate when we actually were all on the lease contract... so the agency outright lied to us about the inspection. Furthermore, we found out from the neighbours that the agency wasn't supposed to let the flat to a group, apparently the landlord wasn't aware of this but we didn't know who to believe. And of course at the end we had to deal with them through TDS to get a fair amount of deposit back because they were slow to act on it and thought they could get away with charging us for things that were broken when we moved in (despite evidence to the contrary) and things that consitituted normal wear. Overall, the worst agency I ever had to deal with, and I had to deal with student letting agencies which went bankrupt due to their incompetence... so you can imagine how bad these guys are.

I have let my house through Ashton Roberts for 3 years now. Chris has always kept me up to date regarding any issues, minor or otherwise.
