2A The Green. South Kirkby. Tenants beware! From a failure to deal with rising damp, underfloor and in wall leaking pipes, a hole in the kitchen floor and torn lino flooring causing injury to my toddlers toe and being unresponsive in giving the deposit back I'd personally not recommend. Part the estate agents, part the landlords fault. We received an invalid section 21 notice just for asking for the repairs. We left anyway as the conditions got so bad. The house is now due to be sold or relet. I'd suggest avoiding the purchase of the property unless the price reflected the repairs due. I wouldn't live there or you'll end up with asthma because of the damp conditions like my eldest son has. A pity because they appeared a professional agent. I guess it was just an illusion. Perhaps with a property that never had issues or with a landlord that isn't a slum landlord they may fair better. I'll have to go to court to recover my deposit, which is a ridiculous waste of a judge's time.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
