Gave them fees for a property which needed a guarantor, I checked with them before what exactly they expected of the guarantor, they lied and we couldn't proceed. The contract states that if you are unable to move into a property due to a reason from their end they will give you back the fees excluding admin fees, however when it comes to giving back the money they just say its all admin fees (not what the paperwork says) so they took over £300 and refused to give it back. I didn't have the time to go through court so I had no choice but to give up in the end

30 Nov 2021So Sally Robertson, I think you owe me some money? I see you don't comment when it's proven that it's actually you who's being unlawful. So if you actually care about your money DO NOT use Eastbourne Lettings, it doesn't matter if you have signed paperwork stating it's owed, they still refuse to pay money due. Companies like this should not be running and if this saves even just one person their hard earned money it's worth it!
