It’s difficult to know where to begin, rather than detail each and every negative interaction, the main problem was our property manager, Liz. Liz is possibly the most unprofessional property agent we have had the displeasure of dealing with. Abysmal service, her communication skills were non existent, there were times we felt they were paying us to live at the property. Example 1 - broken seal on shower. Rather than have it repaired, the suggestion was, we spend our time buying a new seal and have a go at DIY. A tenner will be deducted from the next rent. Example 2 - I had my very expensive bike stolen, from what was supposed to be a secured underground car park. Liz had zero empathy & when asked who the property management company was, I was told to go downstairs and have a look at the notice board. Nice one Liz, very helpful and supportive during a time of distress. I could continue but I won’t, the picture I’m painting is clear, it was all just too much effort for her. The best was saved for last, the glorious day we vacated. We had paid for an extra day (Saturday) to give us ample time to move belongings & clean the property. We had finished by 6pm Saturday, however there was no discussion regarding where to leave the keys. Monday morning we telephoned Liz at 9am to finalise and arrange the handover. Liz stated we should have posted the keys and parking permit / entry fobs through the OFFICE LETTERBOX on Saturday and we may now be charged another 2 days rent. Who in their right mind would actually do this?!?! The relationship ended very unprofessionally on Liz’s behalf & we are glad to be out of Smeaton Court. To summarise, un-helpful, un-communicative, un-empathetic, un-desirable, UN-ABEL!!!

Excellent fixed fees plus if they don't sell your property within 14 days they reduce their fees not many do that.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
