Dreadful service , agreed a few things for e.g would not agree sale without an onward purchase , they said fine , requested no sale board & requested agent accompanied viewings onky Next thing a sale board is being banged up in the garden rushed out to get them to remove it . Then they arrange a 2nd viewing & ring up & say we ate to do it , insisted we did not ever want to do viewings !! They did rearrange to accompany . Then when we had no onward purchase we requested they did not agree a memorandum if sake with the prospective purchaser as we would not be selling without an onward purchase & there was no prospect of a house and the search continued . They sent out the memorandum anyway , we had to write to the prospective purchaser directly advising we would not progress without an onward purchase , Ashtons rang uo & said we could just go into rented ! !! That was infuriating ! When we did find a purchase but then were ill ashtons were aggressively pushing for paperwork & advancing the buyers desdline to bring things forward even tho they knew we were ill ! Then when buyer had problems in her sale they abdicated progressing the sale in fact it only came tigether as our onward purchase estate agent also acted on our buyers sale & orogressed quite complicated issues, Ashtons refused to assist sarcasticalky saying things best left to solicitors, then weighed in at the 11th hour to bully us into exchanging & completing in 1 day which didnt work for us but they only care about grtting commission we fired them at that point they were pushing us into exchanging & completing on 1 day we took their advice left it to solicitors who are duty bound to act in our best interest we fired ashtons at that point so we could complete in our best interests they were a hinderance we paid their commission but it was good to be rid of them ( Feb 2021) Would not recommend

Inspections are intrusive including sending threatening letters pre inspection stating that if the house is not considered to be clean enough that eviction procedures will be considered. This does not seem to be the case with other local letting... Read Full Review
This letting agent makes me feel they are doing me a favour by letting me live there. A little more sensitivity when writing letters to tenants would help rather than focusing on cleanliness above all else.

Be very careful when dealing with this agent, get everything in writing check and double check. Keep all correspondence as you may need it later to prove what has been agreed. They are highly disorganised and unprofessional - get the name of one person and only deal with them as they will pass you... Read Full Review
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
