Absolutely awful. From start to finish my experience with Horizon has been nothing short of dreadful. Originally I was lied to over the phone, being told that I could have a different payment arrangement because one of my due dates was Christmas Eve (seriously, who charges over £1000 on Christmas Eve?) and subsequently being harassed about this payment. I was then accused of making it all up, and was treated incredibly rudely over the phone, and on email (One time they put the phone down on me!). Moreover, there was a rat infestation on the day I moved into the property due to the excessive rubbish left by the previous tenants. I was then told that we caused the rats and it was our rubbish and that the inventory was signed (by someone who didn't ever live in the property as I replaced her as a tenant). On multiple occasions my emails have been ignored, maintenance requests unanswered, and in the fortunate scenario that maintenance come to the property, they do half the job and leave saying "I'll be back on Monday" only to never return. They removed the doors off of a leaky shower and never came back, and we were then accused of having broken the shower (why?). I forgot the Wifi router in the property and the keys were handed back. Horizon were the only people with access to the property; 3 emails, 2 phone calls, and 3 visits to their office later they finally went to the property to retrieve the router and now claim that it isn't there. They have stolen the Wifi router from me. Nobody else had access to the property. If there is any piece of advice that you can take from this review is DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT GO WITH HORIZON.

4 Nov 2021Had such a similar experience with horizon, the customer service is awful, maintenance are very slow and inadequate when dealing with damages. Wish I had heard about this prior, won’t be going back to them.
