Lies, deceit, no morals or ethics. We viewed and offered the asking price on a property being sold by Nadine Armer at Guy Leonard. She gave us her personal assurances that neither she, nor Guy Leonard (the company) indulged in the usual shenanigans that blights unscrupulous estate agents. We made it clear that our offer was to be communicated straight to the vendor, with no horse trading back-and-forth with other potential buyers. Hugely disappointing therefore that later that day Nadine called saying that the pother party (who had previously made a lower offer) - had increased their offer and were now the preferred party. How did that happen then... especially given that Nadine had given us her personal assurance that she would not indulge in any back-and-forth with other prospective parties and that our offer would be communicated only to the vendor??? If you deal with Guy Leonard you can expect shockingly poor standards, poor ethics and zero morals. AVOID.
