I have been renting properties for about 8 years and i would consider myself a reasonable tenant - I am clean, I like to look after/improve the property, I always pay my rent on time and I have always received 100% of my deposit back when leaving a property....I can safely say that this is the worst lettings agent I have ever used. The lettings agency staff are often quite hostile when speaking to me, even though I consider my approach with them as very relaxed and courteous. I have raised problems with the house and they instantly place the blame on the me before even having had a contractor out to look at the problem and then it has taken them upto a month to get someone out to look at a problem despite several phone calls. Incertain situations they have even tried to make me pay for things that are clearly not my responsibility and then said I can just move out if i'm not happy! If you are looking to rent a property, do not use this agency, no matter how nice the house looks - it's just not worth it...go to Brickness, Barton Lee or something like that, they are much better
What agent could do to change your mind?
Friendly curteous staff, responding to issues in a timely manner and an understanding that the tenant isn\'t some low life rubbish - i think it\'s sad that i care more about my landlords house that the agent does

I'm absolutely appalled at my treatment these past few months by merryweathers. I Moved out of a property on the 21 of July, with an official end of tenancy on the 7th of August 2018. I asked Merryweathers if, seeing as I had returned the keys and therefore had no way of entering the property again to change its condition, they would conduct the final inspection on the move... This is the worst letting agency ever I've ever had the displeasure of having any contact with. If you have a problem they have no interest in helping you or solving the issues. What agent could do to change your mind?
Fees were fine. The fact I had to chase up things on my own credit check over several weeks as the agent from Merryweathers couldn't manage it? Not so much...
