Rented a property though Dexters in September 2020. It is stated in the contract that the water damage in my room should have been fixed before we moved in. I kept emailing them since day one about all the issues in the flat and they kept passing me from one property manager to the other and had to explain my situation and send pictures over again. They only bothered helping us when we didn’t pay a month’s rent. Took them almost 5 months to bring someone in to open our windows that had been painted shut (!) and we couldn’t ventilate the property. In the meantime, the water damage in my room has grown way bigger and is causing trouble in my health yet the only thing they’ve done is threaten to evict us because we didn’t pay the rent. I even asked them to allow me to break the contract since I can no longer live in that room but they wouldn’t let me. I am really disappointed and I hope someone higher up reads this because it is really dangerous for me to keep living there and I really need help.

Avoid Dexters Hammersmith at all costs! We are currently living in extremely poor conditions in a flat managed by Dexters. I worked with Manny at Dexters in Hammersmith and found her very hard working and honest to work with. She was realistic in her pricing of my property for rental and though another agent beat her to finding a tenant in the end, I did enjoy working with her and felt her very trustworthy and honest... Signed a lease for 3 years and found out after a few months and countless sleepless nights there was a airb&b fonctioning 24/7 in the flat right above me , things were dropped every day such as cigarettes, joints, diapers, dirty tissues, toys, etc...
