I am still living in the apartment let by Charlestate and I agree 100% with the other review. It is a nightmare experience. All promises broken. Never come on time to service. Try to find legal loopsholes to exploit terms in the contract. Nigerian gentleman Abby who runs the affair is a terrible guy. Never ever deal with them. On top of that, it seems they are not registered with the companies house either

15 Jul 2012A non rent or late rent payer will expect the landlord/owner vehicle their mortgage with the jazz-air and still be able to keep their investment not to talk of YOU having a roof over your head. RIGHT!?

I agree with the other (legitimate) reviewers - this is an utterly unprofessional, completely childish bunch of people that you must avoid at all costs! Do not under any circumstances have any dealings with this company. They are literally criminals. I have had a default county court judgement against them for almost a year now and they have, for want of a better term, 'done a runner'. Charlestate stole money from me by contacting my tenant and telling them to change the rental payment account. All of this was obviously without my authorisation. An agent from Charlestate show us around 2 properties in one day, and we saw both in less that 20mins and they where 10mins drive away. she rushed us around didnt address any problems and sort of skimmed over prices. we liked one of the properties so asked to see it again the next day, once again ...
