If I could put 0 stars I would. Avoid THEM! First of all the incompetency of the staff is unbelievable. We moved into our property on the 27th of June having agreed various things to be sorted such as a deep clean, floors to be redone, repainted walls, mould to be sealed and we agreed upon the place to be unfurnished - so all their furniture to be removed. None of the agreed upon terms were completed. The excuse that was given (having all this documented photo evidence etc) was they believed we were moving in a week after... even though they gave me the keys on the day saying everything was fine completed and refurbished. We had a full moving van of our furniture that we had to wait to move in until we cleared out the entirety of the place. The cleaning was not acceptable with mucky finger prints, dirty sides, dirty walls, and foot prints around the place. They deemed the place to be clean and said it had been, we asked for various documents such as receipts of the cleaning. They were unable to show us the receipt and have now admitted it wasn't done. (please see further point later which again is terrible). They left the place with various rooms without lightbulbs which required their handyman to come in to sort it out. He came in and put a non dimmable lightbulb into a dimmable light socket (he didnt realise apparently that their was a dimmer switch... yet turned the light on and before leaving. This caused the light to become a strobe light and caused myself headaches. They eventually got a certified electrician to come into the place, he then told us that the place had shorts on the electrics and were not safe. The handyman also sorted the bathroom mould which he painted over with paint that should have not been used because it wasnt waterproof and mould resistant. He also filled holes in wall and painted with a brush over leaving the place in a tip. He also left the place caked with dust because he was incompetent in his job leaving my partner and I to clean up after him. The flooring issue now became worse and started to bounce and come apart in the hallway, bedroom, front room and kitchen. The front room flooring was so raised it actually cut my partners foot causing her to bleed. We asked in September 2020 for these repairs to be taken, they agreed to do it. We have now left in March 2021 and they didnt start on the repairing of the flooring. We had a black mould situation in our bathroom which was not sorted out by them, it spread throughout the bathroom because there was no ventilation, the extractor van was 15 years old and no longer works properly. They have no window in the bathroom. They asked us to just clean the mould as best as we can and would not come over to sort it out. With all these issues throughout the place such as the fridge had broken shelves which needed replacing, there was no detailing on the oven, boiler stopped working. At the end of our tenancy they attempted to charge us £75 for a cleaning issue on how we left it. The place was cleaned to a higher standard than when we arrived and I even repainted the hallway to a high standard for them. After a dispute and showing evidence of everything they have done, which I have a list of photographs, emails, texts between myself and the agency, they finally backed down and we agreed a £25 charge because of the petty plastic left in the front room and a tiny bit of dust on a socket. Honestly without doubt, the worst experience I have had as tenant and will never go anywhere near them to rent a property. Steve is potentially the most arrogant individual I have seen, he believes that because of these errors, because of how slow they are at sorting out the issues, he believes we shouldn't be upset nor angry about his service. This gentleman doesn't deserve to be near this sort of line of work. We are talking about peoples living conditions. Director of sales Tony, all he does is pass you onto other people and does not take responsibility for his teams errors. They simply want to take your money and nothing else. DO NOT GO WITH THEM. They even took a new tenant on board without letting them view the place...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
