The property was originally owned by my late daughter in her name for 2 years ( a long story ). She never received a penny rent. I took ownership in july 2009 and received 3 months rent in 18 months. I live in spain and on visiting the uk for my daughters funeral i was assured that things would be sorted. I hope she rots in hell. That money belongs to my grandson. Ian probyn.

I used Beechwood to rent out my flat in Millers Dale. I was always chasing the rent and on one occasion the rent cheque bounced. Never use any business associated with HELEN GREGORY. I was owed several months rent as a landlord which i eventually got back, only through persistence and I've now found out she never registered the £600. Deposit for my tenant. Great ... Read Full Review

We were suspicious then but more so now..Helen did not return a tenant deposit owed to us in 1996. Unwittingly, we used her to sell a property for us while we were overseas; and before closing was allowing the future owners to come & go in our property as they pleased. I have no proof, but ... What agent could do to change your mind?
We believe that she acted unprofessionally and there was no one to hold her accountable as she seemed to run the office. She took full advantage of the fact that we were ex-pats.

Rented from Beechwood since 2010. They had three offices then Chesterfield, Bakewell and Matlock. First they closed the Chesterfield office, then Bakewell. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
