Used Palmer Snells to rent a property in Wincanton. Signed paperwork for one house and 4 days before we was due to move in Palmer Snells phoned to say the house had been sold by the Agent. They reluctantly offered us another house on the same complex which we had to take without viewing as our tenancy in another house was about to expire. Moved in one the Friday and questioned about the house we was renting and was told it would be took of the for sale market. The house wasnt taken of the market and was advertised still for sale with Palmer Snells, another two companies and then was up for sale with another company after we moved in. The house wasnt checked before being let out. The drainage system didnt work so for a week we had no toilet or bathroom facilities and could only use one toilet. Palmer Snells didnt want to know with any problems and said it was all down to the agent to sort out. Back garden was dug up to lay drainage pipes and was like a big hole for 3 weeks, Weve since moved out due to the above problems due to the stress it caused on my disabled wife and having a newborn baby in the house and another toddler under 2 years of age, Weve since found out via Rightmove that the original house is for rent as it was never sold so Palmer Snells had lied about that.
