Absolutely despicable company. Moved into a flat with hidden damp issues, and whilst Phoenix assured us the problems would be rectified, they did little more than force us out of the flat by circumstance- during a global pandemic as well. Spent two months living in the only habitable room of the flat, whilst black mold started covering our clothes and mattress. Meanwhile there was also a rodent problem which they didn't even respond to until environmental health got involved- and even then, it still wasn't sorted by the time we moved as mice had died behind the kitchen cupboards in an area inaccessible to us, which filled the flat with the smell of rotting animal as well as damp and mold. They care only about money- which was apparent to us when they said they avoided bringing these issues up to the landlord as " He's their biggest customer" I'd also like to add that Lucy Hawkins- who is a partner in this company - has found it fit to leave herself a 5 star review on here, which is hilarious. Do yourself a favour by socially distancing yourself from this agency at all cost.

I wholeheartedly recommend using Phoenix Property company if it has always been your dream to live in a property that endangers your health and you enjoy being treated as worthless. I would never recommend Phoenix. They rent out properties with terrible damp and mould, are impossible to get in touch with, and if you DO manage to reach them they'll tell you it's your own fault and you should find somewhere else to live. I wouldn't touch them again with a ... Read Full Review

I am disgusted with the unprofessionalism and callousness shown by Phoenix Property and Lucy Hawkins. They let out houses that are in an unacceptable uninhabitable condition and refuse to show any sympathy to the tenants whose lives they are affecting. I would never rent from Phoenix Property Co. I know someone who rented with them and the damp issues were absolutely revolting. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
