Avoid Avoid Avoid! Dreadful service, shoddy accommodation unprofessional and uncontactable managing director/accountant/whatever job title they decided on that week. Flat was grubby and had antiquated heating and boiler system, that broke within weeks of moving in due to lack of upkeep according to the engineer that eventually fixed it. Garage building was leaning so badly the door wouldn't lock and left them vulnerable to thieves, on reporting theft and asking for help we were told it was locked when we took the flat keys and to sort it out ourselves, and not to keep anything in there! This was a lie, it was wide open when we took keys as it was virtually unlockable. an engineer eventually came and laughed about the angle the garages leaned to and said the doors wouldn't be flush enough to be locked easily, he left and never returned. Bruce from Charles Fox lied. He does more of this later. The flat was cleaned to a much better condition than it was received before moving out the oven that had been used literally 3 times he wanted £65 to have 'professionally cleaned. This was unnecessary and he eventually pursued the route of a 'run in the carpet' to stop £100 from our deposit, this was 100% there on receipt of the flat and the carpet it was on hadn't been cut properly and was frayed at the edge anyway, apparently because we didn't raise a rin the size of a 2p against the inventory we were liable! Despite being director of a lot of letting agencies and other businesses they have to make their extra money somehow right. They even took nearly 2months to refund the rest and had the barefaced audacity to suggest that the 'landlord' was reluctant to accept only taking £100 off us, for nothing. After move out bruce turns his phone off and doesn't reply to emails, possibly because he's busy with his many many other irons he keeps in the fire, but I prefer to think he's just terribly unprofessional, as other reviews here seem to confirm. Avoid Charles Fox and avoid any other of this guy's letting agencies.
