The CEO of this company, Akshay Ruparelia actually blackmailed us. He refused to refund us until we removed our negative review on Google. Of course we have now put it back online as we really must warn others not to use this joke of a company. After all that we still only received a refund for half of our conveyancing fees, even though their solicitors didnt lift a finger and do any work on our purchase. The conveyancing solicitors they assigned to us, PCS Legal, were unprofessional, and entirely uncontactable. When their reception service finally answered the phone after weeks of trying, I spoke to their CEO, Stuart, who was rude and abrupt and took no responsibility for the lack of work undertaken by his firm. Doorsteps themselves are absolutely useless, once they pass you onto your assigned conveyancing solicitors they dont want to help resolve any issues you may be having with them. I spent hours on the phone and email trying to get hold of my conveyancing solicitor and the doorsteps team. Absolutely disgusting attitude by the CEO's which is reflected by the rest of the staff.

20 Jan 2021Great review very accurate as I am going through the same scenario my buyer has sold their home and waiting for doorsteps conveyancing firm to act, leaving young family homeless with 2 young children. Unbelievable now I know why they required to be paid upfront.

If only I could give 0 stars I would. I had 2 properties listed with doorsteps and paid for the most expensive package for both which in total came to nearly 2K.
