Martin & Co Tonbridge managed by Robert Gordon is a popular renting agent for all the wrong reasons ! They are partners in organised crime against tenants! They not only earn from their commission, they also earn from the their deposit! They have a proven formula by evicting tenants after every contract and digest their deposit without a burp! They have a racket of other agencies who work with them for inventory. Formula is very simple they visit your property every time you give them opportunity for example something is not working etc and they look for reasons! They use this opportunity to give you section 21. The inventory agency make a detailed, very detailed inspection and report every little issues. They have contractors in the racket from whom they secure a quote which is very hefty e.g. 2000/3000. They are very good at this and prepare their case in such away that tenant has no chance! I have been forced to relocate in the middle of pandemic! I have two vulnerable patients in my family and I was literally begging them to give me more time! I was never late in paying rent and we behaved very politely thinking they will consider. But they are not only fraud they are also very inhumane and lickers of wicked landlord! Beware!! Beware!! Beware!! Please learn from my mistakes and remain distance from such suckers!

Tenants, for the genuine reviews, please check their TrustPilot (Martin & Co (UK) Ltd Reviews) and the reviews of the Tonbridge's one, please check their Google review, but only in 2022 and before, the rest are just faake reviews from horriiible maniiipulative "landlords"... Read Full Review

This is a warning to anyone who is thinking of using this company as a TENANT. They will keep a substantial amount of your deposit whatever you do when you leave a property.
