Extremely rude customer care from Mr Slade himself I had a viewing on my house at 230 at 2pm I had a missed call from Slades so I rung back to check viewing was going ahead,I spoke to mr Slades himself,well how this man has a company is beyond me,I stated appointment was at 230 it was 230 and was viewing going ahead as I have two animals I have to put in a car and take out and today is exceptionally hot so wanted to check the missed call wasn’t them cancelling,mr Slades answers were it’s hot here in the office to ? (What does that have to do with my animals)? Then I got told it was 227 not 230 so I said is this your customer service because if so I need my house off the market with you his reply was ok bye bye now and he put phone down. No longer selling through them and would never recommend or do business with this company again Such a shame as the actual member of staff I spoke with To put my property on the market was extremely friendly and polite as u can see from email attached. He’s not responsible for his bosses actions and I hope he finds a lovely job soon as he deserves better.

We were not provided with the correct documents when we moved in- e.g. any inventory documents to sign and agree on. Handling fee was very expensive and many other letting agents do not charge a fee for this as it is unnecessary.

Awful Awful Awful. I have rented 6 different properties in 3 different cities over the last ten years. This estate agency is not worthy of the name. The fees are way to expensive (£ 400 plus £90 for checkout !!!! £100 references check) and the services offered are very poor. The agent doesn't answer the questions, he says "of course it's not going to happen" or "It never happen before". I have to call him to know how ... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
