AVOID NO MATTER WHAT We found the most amazing property through walker and Waterer, they were attentive and professional at first, although once the offer was accepted, that all changed. It took them a ridiculous two months to send out the memorandum of sale; which is a long time in this day and age. We were told that the sellers were looking at various properties, to which we found out only recently, after four months of hell, that that was not the case and they had found Some time back, a new build that wouldnt be ready until December earliest. We were lulled into a false sense of security, and only recently the lies have become extremely apparent in the last few months. They have not only been lying to us they have also been lying to the sellers, telling them that we were happy to wait until the new build is complete, whilst we had been asking the estate agent to speak with the sellers and ask if they would be willing to go into a rental, as our property is ready to exchange, and are not happy to wait. They told the sellers we were happy and delighted to wait for them to move when the new build was ready. Which in turn put their minds at ease, so they went ahead and put a deposit onto the new build, which they have now lost. We mentioned on numerous occasions that we didn’t want to wait that long and that we may have to pull out if there isn’t a compromise we could reach with the sellers. They never actually spoke with the sellers about these issues. I had to constantly ask for replies to our emails and in the end had to withdraw our offer. We feel extremely bad for the couple selling the property, because they have lost money because of this estate agents. PLEASE PLEASE do not buy or sell with this firm, they are incompetent at their jobs and they have no quarms about lying to both parties. And then accidentally reveal on the hound the lies they have told. They even lie to each other
