As a tenant I would not recommend this company, Clarkes Estate Agents & Lettings Agents, they have performed very poorly at the end of our tenancy, breaking the terms of their own contract with us! They have fabricated a claim against us in order to withhold our deposit and resorted to blackmail tactics in their attempt resolve the dispute with our former landlord. They have stolen our overpaid rent and are attempting to steal a further £102 for a check out fee when we have had no check out. Communication from them is poor, our emails go unanswered for days / weeks, we have to chase them up but they still ignore our questions and points of concern. This is the worst experience with a letting agent we’ve ever experienced. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I have had many dealings with clarkes! From trying to sell my property to their management of adjacent properties! I have found this company to be immoral and very unprofessional! What agent could do to change your mind?
Been mature and honest! Not think about immediate income but more the affects on the wider community!
