Me and my fiance believed to have found the house of our dreams. Yet, the supposedly proffesional estate agent came across arrogant and patronising. As a first time buyer, Peter Clegg ruined our experience through Lovelle. From the beginning we recieved sparce correspondence and minimal response once we made an offer. We have recently discovered through family friends that the vendor was upset after finding out we were not the buyers of his property. It seems the estate agent chose the buyer for them, who had a bigger deposit (probably) We was not aware deposits had anything to do with the estate agent, and clearly wanted commission more than customer satisfaction, as clearly the property was over valued by the company. If only a zero star rating was an option.....

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
