If you want to avoid being annoyed better to avoid Oakhill properties. We booked accommodation for a month (thankfully not more). What we booked and paid for was an apartment with 2 rooms. The first 3 days we stayed in a place of 5 rooms but only the 2 we had were occupied so everything was ok. After that we were told that we will go to a place with 2 rooms, instead of that we moved in a place with 8 rooms (6 of them already occupied) and the please was in a very bad condition. After speaking with the Owner, Christoffer for hours, he told me that he selected to give as something else than what we agreed (to use his words "The apartment I was offering you before was really nice and just renovated") because he knew the friend that we were living together and he didn't like him?. After hours of arguments we moved in a place of 3 bedrooms in which was me, my friend and one more person... Of course it was really dirty and we spend a little fortune and our whole day cleaning. So, long story short, if you want to be calm and take what you paid for, I would suggest you to avoid Oakhill properties. Of course we never got any receipt for our payment (I forgot to mention that he was extremely kind to give us £25 back? as a favour). PS. I forgot to mention that one day a guy who just came from India who had booked and paid his stay in this property came to find his room... I guess his first moments in Newcastle after this long travel were not that smooth as he was informed by us that there was not any free room in this house, so one of the first things that he had to do in UK was to arrange a non existing accomodation..

All rooms really looks neglected than in pictures. The house has block pipes in the showers and in the sink, and a leak in my room which was not sorted during my stay. If I could give 0 stars I would I stayed at 87 Sidney grove Absolutely disgusting, the dinning room was filthy the bathroom constantly clogged the water in the sink and shower would never go down, back garden is full of trash. The Agent's Fees wasn't that expensive, but that is probably because of the location of the house and lack of proficiency of the landlord.
