A really terrible agency. They trap you in a contract and then don't let you leave until you pay them a lot of money. A really scam agency. The heating was included in my rent, but I had no heating in the winter and when you complain, they just blame it on the landlord or on British gas. Really terrible and unprofessional. They breach contracts, let you sign illegal contracts and try to get away with it. I hope that whoever is going to rent from them will read this review. The heating and electricity bills are not being paid on time so me and my housemates come home sometimes and there is no electricity. The heating has been off many times during the weekends. I paid for the bills one time (same day that I had paid rent to the agency) when I got home as it was after working hours of the agency. Three months later, my money has not been returned even though they have promised that they are going to pay me back promptly. They sent me a screenshot that they had paid the amount to my account. The account number and the sort code was wrong. I mentioned this to them and referred to the email that I had sent them where my account number and sort code was correct and they have not gotten back to me since then. That was more than 2 months ago. There is a problem now with the water bills and the council tax. We even got a removal notice that they will start taking goods from the house, but the agency doesn't care. I have complained that there was mould in my room when I moved in for more than a month now and the agency doesn't care about that. I have tried numerous times to terminate my contract and they have told me now that if I would like to terminate my contract (even if there is mould in the room, which is likely due to the fact that the house was standing with no heating for 4 months before I moved in), I'll need to pay for every month that they are looking for a new tenant plus a fee charge when they find a new tenant. I have contacted several organisations and schemes to take more legal action. I hope that the agency will shut down as they are not fit to let properties. I could write more horrible things, but I think that I might reach the word limit in this text box. Bottom line: AVOID THEM!
