This agent was chosen based on previous reviews. However, our experience did not meet our expectations. We were misled over the status of a chain and a mortgage application which ultimately failed leading to us losing our proposed purchase and wasting two months. This cost us extra in legal fees for the aborted transactions. Again on the next sale we were misled about the chain, which went from our buyer selling to a cash buyer to their being two more property sales in the chain, without us being informed. We were encouraged to reduce the price of our property while still believing there was a short chain and we should get a quick completion! This was in the interest of Home as they were acting for all the other parties in the chain and our deal was a fixed price so the reduction in price did not affect their income.
