The main and most disturbing is the fact that they have stated to myself via e-mail that they have no records of their clients due to a system change over. This information was only provided after countless and relentless requests for my account also any other personal information held by LL Estates to be provided. Finally LL Estates made the admission as stated above that they only have information from 2017 onwards when we signed our first contract with them 29th January 2013. We were never before informed of this issue and now have no idea where our personal information could be. I also have no idea to the extent of their clients this issues reaches as this was clearly a mass, major loss of information and I am sure they would also be unaware of this matter. Even to date I have not been provided with an appropriate answer as to exactly what happened and where or how my information was lost nor have I received the information requested. LL Estates have never managed the property in which we are currently residing to even an acceptable standard. I have over 40 e-mails and letters sent over 6 years at the property most of which making a complaint of some kind. To these I have only received minimal replies and barely ever given an answer or resolution. Due to this myself and family were left with a hole in the roof for over 4 years causing extreme damp and mould. As a direct result our children became ill and couldn't sleep in their own bedroom leaving one in our bed and one sleeping in the lounge on a camp bed. These issues also ruined our personal property such as furniture and clothing also cost a considerable amount more in energy bills and left us unable to obtain home insurance in account of the properties disrepair. There is a broken kitchen window which dose not close or lock for over 6 years, fence down in the rear garden for 2 years and broken front door for 6 months. These issues have caused thefts for which we are not insured, privacy and security problems all of which have been completely ignored by LL Estates and the landlord.

I found Mel of LLEstates to be very professional in her dealings with me. I found it impossible to do viewings because Wales was on lockdown and also because I have mobility problems! Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
