Awful agency. Never have I experienced such unprofessionalism and unhelpfulness. Had problems from day 1 when the wrong property was shown...Actual property was rented out to me in an absolute state. Completely filthy, no working boiler, boiler condemned by British Gas. Danvers then refused to help resolve this until 5 days into me living in the property. Danvers won't clean your property before you move in but will happily charge for cleaning afterwards! The property had a number of damages that despite being reported were never corrected, and those that were was often done so badly I might as well have not bothered asking. On top of that, if you ever emailed with an issue, you had at least 2 different agents responding to you, often with complete different responses suggesting their staff do not communicate with one another. Would it be so difficult to just assign one agent to a case so tenants don't receive conflicting information? On top of that, they tried to take over half my deposit for existing damages and cleanliness when the property was in a much better state - what a joke! I worked hard to make that place clean and presentable after the mess they gave it to me in! Danvers will claim a proportion of your deposit no matter what! Good luck if you've already signed with them.......
