My girlfriend and I viewed a property in Beverley today. Not only were we met very late, with no apology, by a Clubleys representative but also what felt like a complete lack of desire to help at all. The property was listed as furnished and was in fact unfinished... and attempts to discuss a lower monthly rate due to this were met with disdain and completly shut down with no room for adjustment. Attempts to find out information such as council tax prices were also left unanswered. On top of this, when approached about damage to the walls in one of the bedrooms (paint scratched off in a graffiti like fashion), i was told simply to take pictures and that this wouldn't be rectified had I chosen to sign a tenancy agreement. Overall this was a very unsatisfactory experience, and extremely daunting as a young couple looking to rent for the first time.
