I have NEVER in all my life come across a company as dodgy as asset grove or vc properties (they cant even decide their own company name). We are currently renting a property from them that we acquired in December 2018 and after a long line of complaints which I don't really have time to go into, nothing could have prepared us for what has recently happened and we are still going through!. Almost 2 weeks ago we had bogus callers pretending to be the water board who said they needed to stop our water briefly, only they didn't do that, they cut through our electricity main cable and wiped the entire property from any power! We now know this was done deliberately and we also know why!. UK power networks, who have had to provide us with power every since, using a very loud generator, have informed us of of the history into the property, which has all been logged on their's and the police database. In July 2018 the house was raided by police as it was being used as a cannabis farm! The police had UK power networks cut the power to the property from the front of the house and to have it reinstated it would cost the letting company thousands to be re-wired. But obviously this GREEDY company didn't do that, instead that had an illegal connection bodged together by some cowboy and the property has had the connection ever since, unbeknown to us, who have 5 children, including a newborn, we have been living in extremely dangerous conditions with the main power cable simply trailing across our kitchen floor and under the cooker. We have been told if that wire was to be damaged it would blow us all up and the agents are committing a criminal offence by allowing tenants, especially children to reside in such an unsafe property. Add into the mix that we have not been provided with ANY smoke alarms and the doors upstairs lock shut if they're closed, you have a massive fire risk! To make matters even worse, we were told today (sat 23rd Feb 19) by UK power networks that they need to cut the entire property of power again and they are taking back the generator. They said the people who own the property have a duty of care to our family and should provide us with safe accommodation until issues are resolved and the property has SAFE power again. But surprise surprise they are closed on a Saturday and there is NOBODY to help us. They have a typical 'computer said no' character answering phones, saying nothing can be done until Monday, when you ask for her name she puts the phone down!! SO, we are now faced with having absolutely no power all weekend at the very least with 5 children (one newborn) and nobody is doing anything about it, another break of the law! These people are not only unprofessional, they're criminals with absolutely no regard for safety or care for their tenants and I promise I will be taking them to the cleaners and then some!

20 Oct 2019Hi Harley, can you please email me on cluciferus@gmail.com, this is the third time a property in our area is used as a cannabis farm, that is managed by them, and we are about to ask for dissolution for both companies and would love to have your case file as proof as well.

26 Mar 2021Does anyone know where this company operates from? They owe me money. They used two of my properties for cannabis cultivation.

Avoid like the plague. They gave us the neighbours from hell, lied about managing the property and won't even reply to official complaints. Before the current neighbours from hell moved in the house was used as a canabis farm. Do not waste your time on them, the only way they listen is ... Read Full Review

3 Apr 2018Dear Sir/Madam If you have a genuine complaint it would be better if you went through the proper channels. Posting an anonymous complaint with no proper details isn't going to get your compliant...
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
