Dishonest, arrogant and rude. Do not attempt to sell via the Welwyn Garden City branch. They will waste 6 weeks of your time with your house removed from the market for a buyer that hadn't even provided sufficient I.D!! (Something I would have expected to have been done before the gentleman in question was allowed to place offers and demand the house was removed from the market and further viewings cancelled) -which I did in good faith. Grant the manager at WGC takes on average 4 days to respond to emails when asking for simple updates. He fobbed me off with 'the buyers solicitors are waiting for draft contracts' when in fact my solicitor hadn't received anything from either WHB or the buyers solicitors. How can a solicitor draft a contract without even a name? So this was a lie to keep me quiet for a few more days! Viewings always shoddy... Lights left on, sofa sat on, my fridge/freezer had even been turned off and started to defrost by the time I'd got home. Not the service I expect when paying over 3grand in fees. The disappointing part is Grant knew how disappointed I had been with my previous agent, he promised I'd receive a better service from himself and his team at WHB.

This branch sold us on the fact that they could easy sell our property at the valued amount . But 6 weeks later advised us to drop the asking price. 8 weeks later only 1 viewing and the agent was late and no phone call. Stay well away from this... Read Full Review

Very disappointed! Cancelled my viewing once one hour before and then the second time they called me to re-book the agent did not show up !
