We were totally let down by this agency. It did not fulfill its own Tenancy agreement. When checks were finally made after 3 years the property was virtually uninhabitable. We allowed the tenant to remain on the understanding proper checks would be made and the property monitored, also because she was on part benefits which we had been told was not a problem but then we found out the prohibitive cost of evicting her. We were sent (and have copies of) false check reports saying the property was in clean and tidy condition which it was certainly not (photographs available). The tenant did a runner owing rent which the agency made no attempt to recoup. The place was left totally uninhabitable and cost us £13,000 to bring back to standard. The agency does not answer our letters, I believe in the hope we will finally go away. In our opinion, it should not be in business bearing in mind fees were deducted from the rent in return for managing the property, something the agency clearly failed to do. Overall rating would actually be minus, not 1*.
