Before the period of July to October I have never heard so much disorganisation, stupidity and disrespect from a company. The house wasn't ready when they said it would be, the decorator got paint on some of our belongings (which has still not been replaced). The workers from the agency constantly walked in and out of the property without any communication with us to do so before hand (the contract says they need to give the tenants 24hrs notice) and bearing in mind I was the only tenant in the house over the summer, I'm female and having strange men just walk in unannounced is pretty scary; they never had a badge or ID to prove they were from the agency either. The easiest part of my whole tendency with them was signing the contract over to a new tenant. Although I am now having issues with getting my deposit back to me which was said to have taken a day but now apparently it's going to take 10 days? Communication with the workers needs to be improved as no one in the office knows what's going on with any tenants, even though there's about 10** * Thank you sugarhouse for the most stressful past months of my life.

I have spoken to you myself and understand that the matters which you have raised have all now been resolved. With regards to the painting, this was improvement works which the landlord offered to do at the property over the summer months. I do accept that (and apologise for) the contractor did unfortunately get some paint splatters onto some of your belongings, however, the contractor has refunded you the value of having the items professionally cleaned. I take on board your comments about contractors identifying themselves although we do ask that our contractors make themselves known to the occupants when entering a property. All of our deposits are returned as per tenancy deposit scheme timescales and guidelines. In regards to the comments regarding our staff, I can assure you that we have a great team that are incredibly dedicated to making sure our all of our tenants have a positive experience. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
No procedure set.
